Plumbing issue near Anderson valve

Slow drip leak. See photo w/arrow. Leak where plastic connects to metal.

Best fix? Throw me ideas before I tear into this project......Click image for larger version

parks0412: Like your setup.
I also moved the pump to the same location as you but filter on same side wall as pump.
Changed Anderson valve inner once already.
Please describe some of the routing you used, I like it. Can’t trace all in pix.
It appears u have 2 outflow from pump. Also what fitting on tank fill?
Want your help because I’m too lazy to plan it out. Peter

DEANO777, it looks like you have a similar leak to ours, which was on this same 'main' connector that feeds all your faucets and the shower, though mine was on the back side, which is the 'output' feed to the interior lines, your looks the side that feeds the water heater.

I'm not sure if the brass fitting nut will 'rotate' tighter, or if you have to remove the right side lines to 'rotate' the whole body for a tighter fit(or remove it and add plumbers tape)... it 'aint easy.

As some have said, I would vote for doing away with the Anderson system, though it's understandable why they use it - it's an inexpensive way to accomplish many things within a single 'connection' for all the lines. When you 'replumb' it, you have to account for how these things interact to get it right, but it's doable.

I actually removed my 'incoming' City Water hookup from this panel and just let it be a flexible line that I can more easily connect to. I also, like others, moved both my Water Pump and Water Filter from the passenger side water tank to this bay, mine are on/near the left side wall. I could do without the huge metal 'panels', too... there should be an easier way.

yep, a great idea.... I think some of owners, with a little 'real world' experience, are smarter than the engineeers(who probably never use these systems themselves!)

keep up the good work, I'll send you my huge white heavy metal 'pretty' panels when I remove them! : )
