Shower Door

I have to put a bath mat on the floor outside the shower at the hinge side to catch the water that leaks out. The dealer put a new flap style gasket on the bottom of the door but it still leaks out. How many of you are experiencing this? Or am I the only unlucky soul?

We have had the same problem. I thought that it happened when we opened the door after showering.

Same problem on ours. Had it replaced at Elkhart but it's split again. Does not leak as of now. Lowes does have some material that looks like it might work. Another project.
Replaced my leaking drain valves this morning before our next storm hits. No time to check out.
Hope you guys stay warm.

On my 36.1, I get a leak that comes from the bottom corner where the door hinge is. The pan of the shower is one piece and the walls are another separate piece. There seems to be insufficient caulking where the two meet.... especially at that corner. I am planning to seal the opening between the pan and the walls and also seal the small opening just to the left of the door at the pan level. Will let you know how it comes out

I ask the tech about the side walls not sealed at the top. Was told that that's on purpose. Walls need to be able to flex or they may crack during travel.

I used my caulking "gun" and silicon sealant on seams and door joins. Never noticed any leakage, just taking precautions. Did not make sense to have separation between sidewall and bottom.

Looking at the gasket at the bottom of the door, there is a gap where the seal ends and the hinge. Should the installer trim part of the Tee portion so that the flap portion would extend to the hinge?
