Slideout Pantry

I just completed a slideout pantry and I am pleased to share the photo. I followed the design of Bob (BoDu) using the same slide hardware and much of his design. I have two fixed shelves and six adjustable ones. I left the cabinet door in place on its hinges. Since the slide has no lock I had to improvise one and a bungee cord did the trick. I must say that the project is a lot of work if you don't do cabinet work often. I am very please with the slide hardware that Bob used.

Very nice job. What do you estimate it took you in time and cost?

The slide hardware was about $190 and there was about $60 in wood, $12 in paint, and $10 in screws. I would not even try to estimate the time because I work off and on. It may get too hot, I may get tired, I may need to stop and figure out what to do. Being retired I can do that thank goodness.
