Has anyone else found the sofa almost unbearable to sit on. Seat seems short and back is almost straight. Feel as if i am "perched". ??? Any solutions?

You only posted 2 minutes ago but we need more information. Year and kind of RV. What is the sofa, a sleeper, or just standard sofa?? If your coach is old or older then maybe it's time for an upgrade. We have a 2014 WBGO Vista 30T. It's a real nice layout but it's sure not a top of the line MH but the sofa is very comfortable.

I suppose that I've found our sofa to be comfortable, but after setting there for a period of time, I realize that I am nearly lying down due to sliding downward; this meaning, I believe the back is angled to much, sliding me forward.

My fat butt probably anchors me to the seat.

unbolt the seat and reverse it... makes it a deeper seat. More comfortable for us that likes to slouch.

I have my eyes open for a new sofa that fits the space. Our sleeper sofa is comfortable at first sitting but that soon changes after a few minutes. I would like to find something that is comfortable and not a sleeper.

this is a one man job... lift up the seat, youll see 4 nuts... remove it, turn the seat around and put 4 nuts back on. Simple DIY.

You probably knew (or should have) about the sofa at the time of purchase. We had the same thing in our 5er but had planned on changing it as there were other features we wanted that offset the poor sofa.

We took out the old sofa (and chair as well) to replace them with Lazy Boy chair and love seat. Both recline. YAAAY. We purchased the 0 clearance house furniture. The back comes off so it was easy to get them into the 5er.

Down side is we had to get rid of the sofa sleeper. Upside is we got rid of the sofa sleeper. Limits the number of guests to a manageable level.

One of the pre-requisites of the coach was comfortable furniture. Many nice coaches were eliminated from the search because the backs on the sofas were too low or too upright. All looked good when you entered the coach but we would sit in them for a while to see how they felt.
