Bill, yep, as I read your post I was thinking a square drive bit was the answer. Why did I think that? I did what you did to try to drive a screw on my Palazzo a while back. I must have Googled it and gotten the clue after I had bought some extra tools that I did not need of course.

But the system rarely jacks a wheel off the ground in a reasonably level site. With suspension to "AUTO" the system follows the same cycle but, given identical site conditions, the coach ends up slightly higher than with suspension set to "LOWER".

Perhaps you could try a manual level in LOWER position just for comparison to the result you get with auto-level in the AUTO position. Remember that when manually leveling you won't get the illuminated steady center green level indication, instead you will get a flashing green once the level reference is achieved.

I can't see anything particularly wrong with auto-leveling with the suspension in AUTO position but I would definitely be unhappy with the jacks raising any wheels off the ground unnecessarily.

What does Lippert have to say?
I did what you said and i can get it level with very little lift of the jacks. But when i try auto level it just keeps ratcheting up till all the wheels have left the ground. I will give lippert a call and see where it could be going wrong.
Thanks

Checked my toolbox for something that would work but only checked the 6 point T20 and T25 and they would not work. Made a trip to Lowes and Home Depot and no one there knew what they were. Came back home and checked Google Images for 8 point star bit and found some at a trailer parts supplier. In reading the description it turns out they use a square bit. Yep, #2 square bit works perfectly...DA.. should have tried it before wasting time and gas.
Does anyone know why they have the cylinder on the door? All my other RV's the door just opened flat against the wall. I keep pulling this door to the max when i open it. Rats just one more thing to get used to.

just remove it, like we did - and add a door catch above the handle to attach to the wall when you want to leave it open... easy and effective

What's the best way to get additional paint for Palazzo? Has anyone called Thor or is there another way to get for minor scratches?

Received a touch up kit with ours when new.
Call if you did not get yours.
They need to know year and color.

We took bracket off(after wind grabbed it to many times) and included a magnet against the side of motorhome. Now it opens all the way and stays open with the magnet holding it to the coach. .......what we've learned is when backing up we just open door to coach and can listen/view that side from drivers seat (is awesome and works well)....hated the 90 degree door.
