Thor Palazzo 33.5
I am considering upgrading to this model. I’m just curious on what discount I should get when purchasing. What purchase prices have others gotten on this model?

I always figure you take 30 % off of the crazy factory list price to start. Then, depending on the time of the year it is and if the sales are slow, you can take more of a discount. I am never afraid to offer a low price on a new coach.
We purchased our current previously owned 2015 33.3 Palazzo last March. It only had about 19,000 miles on it and we saved a whole lot of money. There are some really great deals to be had on prev, owned coaches. With the money we saved, we made lots of upgrades and still have a lot left over for diesel fuel.
Ours still had some warranty on it and it looks like brand new.
Good luck on your search.
Bob

Thanks for the reply. The challenge with used is the 33.5 is a newer model. We definitely want the washer dryer stackable. The 33.3 is nice. I’ve seen a used low mileage at a good price online but then again if I negotiate well maybe get new for a few bucks more.

Ditto on the 30% off factory list on new.

I purchased a 2017 Pillazo 33.2 with 4,000 miles on it. Love the the floor plan, and yes we use the stackable Washer..Dryer. Bought from private party, had a 5 year extended warranty. After wheeling and dealing, I paid $ 135,000 for it. My point being , that good deals are out there.
Good Luck...

When we purchased our 2015 33.3 Palazzo last March, we were very happy that the previous owner resolved some of the problems before we purchased it. I have still had to make some repairs and updates on it since March.
We loved the coaches with the washer/ dryer but opted for a coach with the bunk beds. We have 3 miniature Schnauzers and place the dog crates on the bottom bunk. We use the top bunk for luggage etc. We also have 8 grandchildren that sometimes travel with us, and they use one or both of the bunks.
Being a pre owned coach, it really helped out a lot on the price. I love that someone else took the initial depreciation hit. Ours had only 19,000 miles on it and we purchased it for $91,000 dollars (+ taxes) from an RV dealer in Orlando, Florida.
We are still working on it to add touches to really make it fit our lifestyle.
At my age , this coach will probably be our last class A coach. Maybe after I hit the age of 70, I might want to step down to a smaller, easier to maneuver Class C or a B+ RV and not tow a car.

If you are thinking new, In about two weeks the Tampa Supershow will kick off the selling season. They will have the Palazzo there with a discount price in the window. Historically, these have been great prices as they try to kick start the year.
You might try to find someone on the forum who is going to be there and see if they can relay. A good barometer.

Thanks for all the replies and help. I think I’m definitely going to start watching prices. I notice last years at some dealers are at really low prices. I think I’ve figured out based upon those clearance prices what dealers can afford to sell at.
