I think you're more right than I was - I thought I had remembered asking about what they were for while at the factory service center and was told they were mounts for the booth seatbelts. But, upon checking mine today, while the slide is fully extended, I can put my hand all the way in and around these items, as the two are within a 'track' under the both booth seats. While feeling around each one, I could see that there is nothing connected to either, but they both extend into the floor underneath the booth, which is the floor of the coach(not the higher floor under the booth).
The revelation is that both of these 'slide tracks' for these units are open to the outside elements, meaning that they allow air and temperatures right in under the slide floor than runs almost the full length of the coach, with only a rubber 'flap' under some of the edge of the front of the slide floor to help insulate it. It also is certainly an easy route into the coach, and under the full slide floor, for entry by insects, ants, spiders, rats and mice, especially if parked for a while.
I'm not really sure what these items are there for - maybe a slide anchor as mentioned, but when you ask yourself why they would be needed, even then it's difficult to understand why.
The end rail tracks on each end of the slide keep the slide from movement. The inside trim and installed brakets keep the slide from falling out, and the outside trim keeps the slide from falling 'in'. The only possible expanation for these units 'might' be to keep the slide from 'jumping' or 'bouncing' while traveling. Having reasoned that, though, why would they be so close together and only near the front of such a long slide room?
