I also can not figure where, or how a wired USB device can be used with thus system. Have you figured that one out?
Pull radio out and there is about a 4 inch black wire, with USB on end...just laying back in there.... Route it out front...

Our Axxera stopped working on our 2016 Palazzo and so I had to order a new one and replace it myself. I haven't tried cutting the orange wire, but I can confirm that it is there and it's lableled "Back view control" or something very similar to that.

On the 2018 33.2 does anyone have a remote for the radio/nav? The online manual shows a remote... My dealer said they didn't know anything about that...

Your dealer owes you a remote.

I called the manufacturer and they sent me the remote. There is more functionality with the remote then there is with the touch screen. I was told Thor was the one who doesn't care if they send the remote whhen they first install the device. The remote normally comes with the product.

Interesting... I called Thor. They first told me they had found that the remote interfered with the TV's so they order the radio without the remote kit. I called the supplier (Micro) and was told all radios were delivered to Thor with a remote. He said he was at the plant yesterday and he observed the units currently being built all had remotes. He said they might not ship out with a remote...but they all originally had a remote. I Called Thor back. After a couple pass arounds the parts Dept verified... The do get the remotes. They have found they interfere with the TV's and the Firefly system... So if you have the new Firefly system they recommended not using that remote... And if I added one it could cause problems.. they would not send me a remote... Oh well....

My 2018 36.3 has a remote for the radio. If it interferes with anything I don't see it.

Do you have the Axexxa AVM111NaV radio/navigation system ? Wonder why they (Thor) are being so resistent to sending these out ?

I'll have to look at the exact model but it does have Nav which is pretty much useless.

I have only used the remote once. I thought I would use it more so I stuck in with Velcro onto the dash just to the right of my right knee. It looks cool but I never take it off.

I used the nav system that is stock in the Palazzo on my last road trip and input about 25 different long distance destinations and with only one minor exception, they were all right on and just as good as Google maps on my phone. In one case, google was wrong and the nav system was correct. In another situation, I noted the in dash nav showed a left turn error while it was saying to turn right. Every other time, the in dash nav was very good for us. It takes some getting used to but I like how it has items on the right side of the screen that change (right of the map) as you drive and note what is upcoming. It will show fuel, or rest stop or restaurant and say 8.1 miles, etc. and this counts down and then shows the next items of interest. I don't have that on my phone. Use it and get accustomed to it and the system is actually better than expected.
