When he was showing me the RV, the water pump kept running and wouldn't stop so they replaced it. I though it fixed the problem but when we used it the first time last weekend I filled the fresh tank than turned the pump on to fill the lines and the pump never stopped running when on normal mode. Plus i could hear water running at the anderson valve. I was assuming the hot water tank was still filling but I know that wasn't the case because the water still kept running even after driving it 3 hours. I than messed around with the valve and when I switched it to City water, the pump stopped running continually. It than of course ran ever 30 sec or so which as you guys says means a leak or something is wrong somewhere. Is it supposed to be on normal when I am not hooked up to city water?
Everything you described is not Normal! Also, to answer your question, the Anderson Valve should be on normal when you are not hooked up and want to be able to use your tank water.
