What is this ?

Hello Palazzo friends. Pop quiz, what is this ? It's located in the front of the rig. I am assuming this is hydraulics, but I am not 100% sure, and I can find any documentation for it anywhere.

What is it, what kind of fluid ? What's the proper level.

Thanks in advance.

Leveler jack system master pump, tank, and servo module.

Have someone operate the system and go look at it...it makes crazy noises, and gets the job done.

The tank will be at the highest level with the jacks up. For the correct fluid, check your manual, but it's probably normal red ATF. There should be a max full line molded into the tank. Be sure to not overfill or there will be a big mess.

Safe travels

From what I understand, the full level mark is above the yellow cap on the side, It is not a fill cap... the fill cap is on top of the tank. The side cap is there for when the system is mounted on its side used by other coaches.

Ferdinand,

The top cap has a vent in it too. I think my tank is overfilled. It regularly leaks out the vent in the cap. So, I put a paper towel around the cap. The paper towel is about as red as ATF.
