Wind Whistling Noise

The above thread was closed a long time ago, but I wanted to know if anyone else has tried this mod and did it solve your wind whistling noise in the front?

There are just a few times in a very strong cross wind that I get a loud whistling noise. It is pretty rare but I do wonder what the cause is. I see the referenced thread and Randy's fix adding a seal to the front compartment door. I might try it.
