Would you buy a Palazzo
To all the Palazzo owners, would you purchase a new Palazzo today?
We are shopping and the floor plans are attractive.

Yes, and I did. Love my Palazzo. But go into it knowing that it will take some time to repair questionable workmanship. Read the forum to learn what to concentrate your pre buy on.

No---had one finally gave up on it and traded. Just to many issues. Mainly the large slide.
With slide problems you will be expected to return to factory to get it fixed right.
Just read the forum. Rather easy to find post on the Palazzo. There are several other manufactories that sell better quality for very little more $$.
Read the thread that is running now on "has anyone NOT had problem with slides".

As a former Palazzo owner I would purchase another if the price and floor plan is what we wanted. We loved our Palazzo but when we saw the Tuscany XTE we liked the additional features that it had so we upgraded to it. I have no regrets with the purchase of our 33.1.

No. Too many slide malfunctions. Poor quality build.
Will not consider new MH with schwintek slides so have crossed out Tiffin, Winnebago, and Forest River 34QS. (Although the Forest River 34 QS was a really nice, well built coach).
Newmar Ventana LE has elec. gear driven slides, Comfort Steer, and very well built.

Yes, we almost let all the negative post drive us away. We love our Palazzo and it fits our budget.

Don't own one for a reason, looked at them when we were shopping but were not impressed with the lousy craftsmanship such as the molding falling off... gaps between the ceilings and cabinets. I guess quality control didn't catch it as it left the factory, so what else did they miss?

Yes we would, and did.
Originally purchased a 2013 33.1 in April of 12.
Many warranty items, but no slide issues, ever, in 17k miles.
We called it Beta, in recognition of how many things were poorly thought-out or assembled, but we liked it.
In October of this year we traded for a 2013 33.2 with 2.5k miles.
We liked the floor plan better (dinette mainly).
This one has the long slide with dinette, kitchen, fridge, W/D, and closet.
Talked at length with salesperson about slide issues, decided to chance it.
So Rev Twoey is now our baby.
Some startup issues - charge system draining batteries, W/H gas valve and Pressure valve problems, other trivial stuff.
Tech spent almost 4 hours finding the rattle noise up front - blush.
Don't know how it will work out, but so far we've had reasonable responses from Thor, Freightliner, and Lazydays.

Yes, I would. Love our 2014 33.2. We haven't had any slide problems with it. The few minor factory repairs needed (weatherstrip on slide, and duct not blowing properly) were done at a TDC Rally by Thor Service Techs at our convenience. Great company - great product for the money. Logged 6,000 miles so far.

We have a 2014 33.2 with the triple track slide system. I would definitely buy another. I got a great price and a great coach. If potential buyers use this forum as a way to devlop their shopping eye, they can probably get a similar deal. Buyers do have to be informed, dilligent and cautious.
