The difference between 2 6volt or a pair of 12v marine..... boondocks out where it is cold and the furnaces are running. Them that start there generators between 3:30 and 4am are using 12volt batteries. Them that get to sleep though the night are running 6 volt batteries. Quartsite in the winter you can see it every year.
