12v power outlet - Creek Side 27bhs

I recently purchased a Creek Side 27bhs and I cannot find a 12V power outlet in the trailer. Does it come with one? We primarily dry camp and use the 12v outlets to charge phones and tablets.

Good luck with your search and hitch install situation.

I had to install (3) three 12 volt outlets...we had zero in our Wind River and like you we do a lot of dry camping. The install was very easy...and if it's easy for me anyone can do it.

Thanks Lac! Where did you source the power from?

From here. Spliced the power from the wire that feeds the bin lights. Spliced it before the light fixture. Dremelled a small hole in the side of the fixture to run the wire through. Installed in inline 5 amp fuse before the 12 volt plug. The plastic sheet is still on the finished receptacle. Once removed they will be chrome.
Works great..I am not handy and this job was easy...it mostly likely took me double the time than any one else. I also run 12 volt 10 inch fans from these outlets..see mod section.

I found a thick 12V source cable behind our radio. Installed a couple there with fuse.
Also found an empty 12V fuse holder in the WFCO converter and used that to feed a couple more close by.

120v to USB

This is similar to what I put in Quick & Easy Improvements: 10 Plug & Play Home Electric Outlet Upgrades | Apartment Therapy. Nice thing about it is that it is movable so moving out under the awning is possible.

Our Creek side 20FQ came with one in the bedroom on the roof by where the TV would mount.

My husband added a combination 12v and 2 USB charging ports to our trailer. He ran it from the converter itself. Wish I had a link to the setup he used, but he just got it off Amazon quite inexpensively. Our trailer came with 2 12v (for the television connections, so we can use those for fans too. We also had the dealer install a roof mount fan in the bedroom, something I highly recommend since there is only one window there in our unit. It makes dry camping much more pleasant.
