Thumbs down 2014 20FQ is this underbelly normal?

We are looking at a outdoors rv 20fq titanium always garaged very little use. Is the underbelly of the outdoor rv supposed to sit on the axle like in the photos ? It looks like it is bowed ? We are interested in outdoors rv for the 4 season since we have to go over the mountains regularly in our travels in the fall and spring. I am very concerned about the build quality. It also has a bubble on the roof. Feedback please.

It is bowed a bit. But, that is the drain pipe for the grey and black tanks, not the axles. I would cut a 3 sided panel and see if the tank has become bowed or dropped some. Actually easy to remove entire coroplast sheet since it has tec screws instead of rivets.
The roof needs attention for sure. Need to remove the trim and patch with eterna-bond/dicor to make it watertight. The bubble won't get better over time.
I would not buy it without inspection of the tanks.

Mine has the same bow from the factory. It is where they brought the sewer drains down and the underbelly needs to bow there to keep the drain on the warm side of the coro-plast. There is an inspection panel already in the coro-plast at that location that is attached with screws and has a layer of reflectix behind it.

The roof looks like a simple fix but have it looked at to be sure.

Thank you for your replies. That is extremely helpful. We have decided this is not the floor plan for us. I will inform the seller the information you have shared. He is actually selling for his friend, his friend passed away suddenly last year.

Answer this question if you would please: we want to purchase a used unit. As I said, it needs to be 4 season mostly for going spring and fall camping and going over the mountains where the weather changes regularly. We do not live in Oregon. Have you owned your unit long enough to say it will stand the test of time. We are coming from owning a fiberglass trailer so we are not used to much maintenance at all.

Whether a particular model is declared four seasons or not they all require the same preventative maintenance and upkeep. Four seasons does not mean they are more weather proof. What it means is you'll get a bit more insulating effect to make the interior a bit more comfortable and a little more protection from freeze up. They might be 4 season usable in milder areas but certainly not in more extreme areas.

The term "4 Seasons" has become a popular advertising slogan. I think that it's just another sticker some manufactures slap on the side by the door.
Stay on this site and when you have questions, bring them on. By the way, our belly (on the trailer) does hang down a bit below the tanks.

Thank you. l will watch out for those wannabe 4 season

I will watch out for those wanna be 4 season trailers. Yes in some ways I wish camper trailers had more stringent standards so I would know when I am comparing apples to apples.

It looks like outdoors rv goes to extra lengths to make their trailers truly 4 season. Thanks for your help.
