For those who live and others that rv travel in Oregon, recommendations for camping along the way from Southern California would be appreciated.

Spending time in Oregon will definitely add to your bank of happy memories. We put 40,000+ miles on our first travel trailer visiting magnificent places across the country and Oregon is at the very top of the list of states we want to return to.
We favor State and National Park campgrounds and would highly recommend Harris Beach State Park at the southern tip of the Oregon Coast and Fort Stevens State Park at the northern. Many other beautiful places in between - our only regret is that we hadn't allowed more time in our itinerary on our first visit.
Crater Lake National Park is spectacular - a "don't miss" if you're passing through.
Interstate 84 runs along the Columbia River in northern Oregon and is a wonderful drive with many beautiful waterfalls.
If you're a history buff, the many historic sites related to the Oregon Trail would be especially enjoyable.
The factory tour at Outdoors RV was fascinating and it gave us a much better appreciation for the work that went into the trailer we love and enjoy so much.
Wallowa Lake State Park is gorgeous, as is the country surrounding it. We thoroughly enjoyed the drive to Pendleton for a tour of the iconic Woolen Mills while we were in the area. We're hoping that we can make it back to Oregon in June one of these years so we can attend the Camp Out.
I'm running out of superlatives, so I'm going to sign off now. My best suggestion would be to budget as much time as you can in Oregon - the entire coast is phenomenal, the rivers and mountains are beautiful and the people in Oregon were some of the friendliest we've ever met.
Enjoy every mile!
