23 RKS vs 23BHS. Help choose!

Hi, new potential Outdoor owner here. I have our Lance 1685 sold on Saturday and have been trying to decide between three different models. I think we have narrowed it down to either a 2016 23RKS or a 2016 23DBS units. Mainly for a couple but want either the couch or the bunks for the occasional hunting partner or grandkid. We like both layouts pretty well, and the bunks seem to offer more storage if it’s just my wife and I. I also have a brand new 2019 Backcountry 23RKS that is tempting, but it’s about $10K more, so not sure I want to do that. With that, a couple questions for those in the know. Preferences between the RKS with couch or the DBH? And is the Backcountry addition of the generator and larger solar worth it? Suspension differences between 2016 and 2019? Any input helps! Thanks much,

One thing about ORV is that in many cases they just can't stand still very long. We started looking at them in 2015 and by 2017 when we bought they changed everything. We had bunks when our kids were little - but once they reached the teens they preferred to sleep in tents. Once they flew the coop we made sure that we maintained some extra sleeping capacity with a sofa and dinette. I think that if you are not going to use them all the time bunks are a waste of space. So I would go for a rear kitchen model with a sofa and dinette.

I have a 27DBHS, the bunks are in the rear of the trailer and the bottom one folds up to allow for bikes and other storage which is awesome. It also has a door on the opposite (Driver) side which has been handy. This option gives us a lot of storage options (I had a chest freezer back there for holding game while driving back from Wyo).

Found a pic on the web, but wasnt able to find a pic of the bed folded up.
