250RKS Bedroom Fantastic Fan

I tried searching the forum for this subject. I am sure it is out there but just could not dig it out!

If I want to put a Fantastic/MaxxFan into the bedroom vent on our unit will I find wiring when I pull the vent? I know the Titanium comes with a powered fan. Is the wiring just there for the waiting?

Thank you for answers and help. And again apologies if a previous post has been made on this subject and model.

I think ORV pre-wires their trailers for electric fans.
Pull off the vent surround and you should fine some wires terminated with wire nuts and tape. A mutimeter will come in handy for this install.
You're looking for a wire that is 12v hot all the time when the battery disconnect is on. It will not be wired to a switch.

I replaced the standard vent in the kitchen area with a fantastic fan. When I pulled the vent I found a yellow (hot) and a white wire(ground) to the immediate street side of the opening. I just tied the vent wiring in with scotch lock type connections. I don’t think you’ll need to reach very far to find something hot to tie into.

I think some of the Black Rock models may not have the wiring loop but it takes seconds to remove the four screws holding the trim molding in place to find out.
