Access to shower valve in 24RLS

I don't have access to my trailer right now and I saw a video about dealing with the shot of cold water you get in the shower when you use the existing shutoff valve.

How do you access the shower valve in the trailer? Is there an access plate somewhere behind? The fix requires putting a check valve in the line that I need access to.

Ours is accessible from inside the shower. The cover plate comes off to expose the valves.

Do you have a specific check valve in mind? Have a link to it?
