I use a 12v surflo pump with alligator clips to the battery. Our previous method was a manual bilge pump. Worked well and was good exercise.

I use a turkey cooking oil pump (google it)!! Uses 2 "D" cell batteries, fits into our 7 gallon blue jugs fine, and pumps fairly quickly (but who's in a hurry camping??!!). Due to the height of the water fill port, I put the jug on a small folding table (after yanking out from under the wife's drink!!) so I don't have to hold jug during the process!! Bought on eBay years ago for under $10!! Most now are around $20-$40. Guess I was the pioneer and got the ball rolling that increased the price!!! Sorry!!!

Same here. Setup a used 12V rv water pump with hose fittings. No more lifting!

Yep.
Plus we have three x 40 gal waste tanks and only one fresh water tank.

Nope. It takes more than one FW tank though to fill both B&G tanks.

Well once the portable tank has been emptied into the RV, the black and grey tanks can be emptied into the portable tank. Nice thing is, gravity can fill it on the ground, no need for the pump. Of course, you have the issue of needing to lift it into the truck bed, but I'm sure it can be figured out.

I'm sure someone will suggest dumping the grey water or even using the black water on their crops.
