Backflow prevention for black tank flush system?

Does anyone know if the black tank flush system on a ORV Timber Ridge has a backflow prevention valve already built in? We are heading to a full-hookup site for more than a week (a rarity for us). It would be great to really clean the tank while we are there, but I don't want to take any chances with the fresh water system in the campground. I know I need another hose (a cheap green one should do it).

Thanks.

More than likely it does. It is typically under one of the sinks, which ever one is closest to where you will hook up the rinse hose to the exterior. It will be way up almost to the underside of the counter top.

If the unit was made any time this century or a good hunk of last there iwll be a vacuum breakler or other form of back flow preventinon.

Easy way to tell.

Get a quick disconnect and a short hose (one of those six to 12 inch jobs) and hook up the short hose to the RV the QD to the Short hose and long hose.. Flush,, Now shut off water and disconnect

If you get backflow 1-2 cups of clear water.. Very fast. that is the vacuum breaker breaking vacuum.

If you are worried get your own hose end vacuum breaker and install it on the inlet.

Yes it does. You should be able to see it by removing the drawer just above your power panel.
