Go to eTrailer to see other options.

For the cable ... you can use a chain and lock.

For the rear ... there are other, better? - higher load limit? - options.

We also looked at the 2018 270rks and 280rks. Our concerns were being able to get to the refer while slides were in and needing the larger pantry. So we have the 270rks as the next one down, 260? did not have that pantry. Love the full kitchen access room. Yes, after a panic stop, the pantry items shifted a lot so going to put up nets to catch stuff next time. Having a diesel, towing is not a problem and this time out i'm putting the generators on a rack in the rear receiver to lessen the tongue weight and lift the front a bit. Have towed with a full fresh water tank and no problems. Very stable platform. Our pantry, however, was poorly built and had to be fixed by the dealer. Not a great fix, as i'm an old school cabinet carpenter but hopefully it will hold up until i get to it. Will let ORV look at it at the campout. Have used the great electric heater in 16 degree weather and love it. The 50 amp cord is long. No problems getting to any elect. tower.

We use rear hitch for our bikes. We hook up a bike rack to it.
Also we live in NY and brought ours in Wyoming. The dealer gave us a 6 week temporary plate so we can drive home. As far as warranty work we arranged with a local RV shop to do all our work before we brought the trailer. This is what ORV told us to do. We haven't needed any repair work on our trailer to date.

I have a 2017 Timber Ridge version of the 270 RKS. I really like the floor plan. The two opposing slides in the living area really open things up, and the bedroom configuration can't be beat. You can't go wrong with either one...
