Build date

Is there a way to determine the build date other than providing a VIN to the factory? Is this stamped anywhere on the TT?

Yep, I've always taken the date on that label to be the build date.

"Model Year", like with autos, would be different.

My 2014 Model Year was built in July 2013 according to the sticker.
