Question Camping in WA?

Am headed to Yelm, WA after the Wallowa camp out. Any hints for good camping spots? We plan to go thru Mt Rainier NP over to Yelm..

The park will not take anything larger than 25 foot!! I drove through with my TV and the spots and roads very tight!! There is a forest service campground LA-WIS-WIS just past the south entrance main road by about a mile. Nice campground

The sites are small in the park, they will not let you in the park with that large a rig

Not sure, would not advise, some roads are narrow.

I've changed my route. Will take the Columbia river Gorge to Portland, maybe stay on the WA side of the river. Cross the river near Hermiston.

Thx for the info!!

I don't plan to take that bridge but am curious why? Because it is a toll bridge? Just wondering...

Expanded metal deck, just barely enough room for 2 lanes, minus mirrors!!!! Very intense crossing with an RV, esp when you meet a double big rig. That's all!! Oh, it is a toll bridge.

I second that! It's almost too narrow for a compact car. The Bridge of the Gods at Cascade Locks is ok.

There are some roads torn up in Rainier NP with up to an hour delay at the worst. This is a good year to avoid Rainier NP unless you can stay long enough to make the delays worth it.

I crossed that bridge once with just my truck and it sure took a toll on me!
