Coupler height
Can someone tell me what the coupler height is on a Timber Ridge 25RDS that has the X4 Off Road suspension with 16" tires. I'm assuming that other TR like the 24RLS, 24RKS would be the same. The dealers 50 miles away and they don't have a really level lot and I don't trust the sales guy.
Thanks

Mine is 31 inches to the top of ball. It rides level and pulls great.

Thanks. Curious what size WDH you're using and what your TW ended up being? I know we all pack differently. I was figuring about 1200 lbs for TW based on what I would put in the front areas.

We have not yet taken delivery of our 24RLS. However, I asked our dealer your same question. He said it will level out at 32" to the top of the ball. He likes to start at 33" to allow for 1" of squat. I guess we'll see how it all comes together in a few weeks.

We are using a 1200 lb equalizer, with an 11in. shank. We get about a 2 in drop once we are coupled up and bars on. I didn't get Cat scale numbers yet, but the hydraulic Sherline scale say it's about 1000 lbs with 2 batteries be and 60 lbs of propane. The water tank is behind the axle so it can change your numbers quite a bit. No regrets picking the 1200 equalizer. Let me know if you have any other questions.

31” using a 1400lb equalizer with 10” shank. Pulling with a Tundra so needed the extra height. Hitch weight on TR 22fqs was 900lbs with 4 6v batteries, propane and solar leaving the dealership. Planning on fully loading it up this weekend or next to get the final hitch weight before buying a new tv.

Just about the same numbers for me. 31.5' to the top of the coupler; leveled by measuring frame to concrete at 4 corners. Used a tongue scale to show 800 lbs with 2-6 volt batteries and propane full. Pass thru storage almost empty so it should be about 850 lbs T/W with gear loaded for the road. Pulls well with Husky 1000 lb/10K WD hitch but those bars are hard to get on and off, even with lifting the rig with the tongue jack. (Blue Ox would have been a better choice)
