Ducted or unducted?

Hello all, just bought a Glacier Peak 26 rls and the dealer doesn't have one on the lot with a bedroom ac. I live in AZ. so I know it's got to have one but what's the noise level like on the units? I'm sure some of you have them, and I'd sure like your opinion since the dealer doesn't have one on the lot set up that way. We'll be picking it up next week so we need to decide on the ac.
Thank you for your response

I have tinnitus so the crickets can chirp for hours. It's too late in the game for me to get a new wife since it took 27 years for her to get me trained and I'm older now and the shock collar makes me flinch! Let's face it it's just an illusion that they let us think we're in control anyway........ we all know the dogs in charge , then the wife and we're last in the pecking order........ those of you that think otherwise haven't really faced reality.

what I found with ducted is that it would take hours to cool down once the sun had done it's job on the way to the campground...

ours had a way to direct vent and cool the living area before cooling the ceiling

noise - yes it makes noise, but we like it as it mask those things that go bump in the night !

We ran into this as well when shopping for a new Glacier Peak. We wanted at least the pre-wire for the bedroom A/C along with 50 amp service to be able to run both. We ordered a mid year 2016 that comes with the bedroom A/C pre-wire and 50 amp service. I'll be adding a bedroom A/C unit myself, using a non ducted version as it only needs to serve the bedroom. The non ducted is all you really need for the bedroom and it is a bit easier to install as no need to connect to existing ductwork or wiring to the thermostat.

If the unit you bought isn't pre-wired, you'll need to run wiring from the ceiling opening back down to the circuit panel. That could be a bit of work. Our dealer didn't want to do the wiring and neither did I, which is why we ordered one with the pre-wire.

Thanks for the responses. Ours already had the prewire and Dave from ORV and I talked and we went ahead and had the 13.5 ceiling unit installed. The vision of me getting the unit on the roof and not dropping it, breaking a window, or falling off, confirmed my belief some jobs are better left for younger men with good backs. The cost for the unit installed was $825.00 so it was very reasonable with the dealer having the liability for the job.
