Floor creaking

Hey I have a 2015 250rdsw I am noticing lots of floor creaking originally by the fridge but I now have creaking in the main living area by the dinner and couch. Is anybody having this issue, and had it fixed. I still have a few months of warranty left, just hoping for easy fix since I have to tow it hours away for repair. I store it slide closed, do you think this affects the floor. Thanks ahead of time for suggestions.

Doubt the slide is any cause. It sits above the floor, except at the wall edge when in. One place you might look and try is to check all the cabinet to floor screws. Floor flex can loosen them, possibly leading to movement and squeak.

Pull the drawers, open cabinet doors, and go around and tighten all screws you can reach along the bottom of each cabinet. Also, do the same on the dinette seat bases. Worth a try.

Another subscriber here had floor squeak and ORV basically did that. He felt it "helped"!! I know that the dinette seat bases in our 2802RKS do loosen up, helping the floor to sag some when the slide is closed.

I have a 2015 20FQ (no slides) my floor started this summer to squeak just in front of oven only. Nothing I can see that is obvious.

I have the same problem with my 20FQ Creekside. I did have a number (maybe a dozen) staples pop up through the flooring around the arewhere it is now creaking. Maybe this is the cause, the floor not being fastened to the subframe well enough?

Poor construction is the reason. Using staples to hold down flooring and expecting them to hold up to all the twisting and racking that trailers suffer when being towed is unrealistic. The floor should be screwed down but that would take extra time. Time is money. Cut time, let quality slip and see your profits rise. That's the problem. Quality construction is no mystery. There are quality and poor ways to build anything. More quality equals more cost equals less sales. Dealers don't want that!

Ours had a squeaky floor in front of the sink area.
When we were by the factory and did their great factory tour we had them do a few minor warranty repairs. One of them was to fix the squeak. They fixed the squeaky floor by adding another screw in the floor in the cupboard area.
No more squeak.

On my 1997 class A, the squeak was from the rotten subfloor up front. Found the leaks & fixed them. Good thing I planned on extensive renovations when I bought it. That should not apply to your coach, since it is almost new.
