Those vents are cheap enough, next time you are at HomeDepot grab a couple to have on hand. I doubt that was your problem with the drain though but it will improve the smell.

At wits end on this gray tank...vent is not plugged..vent valves under sinks are all working...TT is level side to side and front to back...when dumping gray tank there is a full 3” stream coming out. WOnce drained the indicator says I still have over a third full. We can only get two or three short showers before water is standing in shower pan and sinks won’t drain...probably 10 to 15 gallons. The TT has a 40 gallon gray tank. Not a problem while in a RV park hooked up since I can drain it everyday..but at a State park , where we are now there’s no hookups.

Maybe the piece of tank that the hole saw cut is still in tank, acting as a flapper.....this is where a bore camera would come in handy....
