We spent ours in Chelan, WA. Was very nice, they closed the road in town and the boy was able to trick or treat with no problems. Campbell's restaurant also turns the bistro into a haunted house. Plus the weather in Chelan was great.

It's a very nice town...busy in the summer. Did you camp at the city park? Are you folks able to make it to the campout...dying to see all your mods!

Yes, we stayed at the city park. I agree it is very busy in the summer. We have a Labrador dog so we are not able to stay there during the summer months so we try to visit this time of year and its not so busy.
Not sure if we will be able to make it this year. I will know more at the beginning of the year when I am able to submit vacation time at work.

Larv... DW was standing on the yeti when she took the pic....only battery operated led light in pumpkin...and I'm think of getting the sweatshirt treated with fire retardant for the campout. You may want to think of putting asbestos seats on your camp chairs for the campout as well.
