I think someone on this forum has already done it. LAC? Or maybe BRULAZ? I think if you wade through the "Let's see your outdoor RV mods" thread you will find it, unless my memory is failing me, which is entirely possible...
EDIT: It was LBZYA. See posts #123 and #132 in the "Lets see your outdoor RV mods" thread. The search engine actually worked for me for a change!

RVLocksandmore.com can replace your keys. I replaced the whole lock with a non generic one of a kind key. I was shocked to learn that dealers had a master key for each make. Too little security for me. They also have barrels for those who want to have the same key for both doors.

Does the Bauer have unique keys or does it use the same generic keys that most RV's use (The ones that most dealerships have masters to)? I want to change to a digital, but also want a more unique/secure key system.

That I can not tell you. The key looks different. The top and bottom are not the same. The back and front doors do not use the same key

I replaced my original Bauer with a newer model earlier this summer. It is much improved from the 2013 version. The Bauers have their own key and of course the combination is easily changed. Not cheap, about $150. This new model is supposedly easier on batteries, it does have better/louder keypad feedback beeps, it's supposed to be less sensitive to rain and requires one less button push to unlock.
