Help with screen door to main connection!

Ok i 'm having trouble closing outer door if screen door is separated,

Am i wrong to think screen door handle should move into connector and be pressed down enough to allow outer door to close then reopen with both attached?

The angled connector has slipped but the adjustments either allows outer door to close but screen latch protrudes and keels screen latched, Or outer door is prevented from closing and pressure on connector is cracking the screen handle.

So I'm not sure how to get both and perhaps i need to do a major adjusting/ resetting of pieces.

Thanks

The screen door usually closed into, and locked or latched when the outside door is open. Catch on the outside door will move, come loose and wear. I have already replaced on my 2013 coach.

After the screen door is secured on the outside door, than the outside door can be closed.
