Leaky flush

Recently my toilet in my 35rds titanium does not hold water unless i quickly realease the pedal. It leaks slowly until it is empty. If I pay attention and quickly release the foot lever, snapping the thing closed it doesn’t leak but anything less than aggressive it leaks. I ran my gloved fingers around the gasket and it seems intact. It’s as if the plastic piece that moves out of the way and then closes isn’t fully closing all the time. Any solutions or experience?

Might try spraying it and all the linkages with some silicone lubricant.

quick snap makes for a good seal.

Try a little cooking oil and let it sit for a bit....

I would get some Danco silicone plumbers grease. It's cheap and can be found at most hardware stores. It won't harm the rubber seals.

I had to disassemble mine and replace the flush and siphon valve after 6 months....very hard water here.
