As far as you like, as you are still getting a stronger signal inside the RV than you would without it. Figuring out where you are likely to spend most of your time, and setting things up near there, is a fair way to plan how to place it in your rig.

That's an interesting shower curtain rod. What is it and where did you get it?

You can get them at Camping World and maybe Amazon. In different finishes. Well worth putting in, a much more comfortable shower. No more "wearing" the shower curtain!

Outdoor rv manufacturing

We are considering buying a product from Outdoor Mfg. either a Creekside or Timber Ridge, how is their quality and anything we should look out for?
Thanks

Take the factory tour in La Grande and then compare what you learn to other brands. ORV is making a very good product, not perfect but a front runner in their market category. We are on our second Creekside, which I think is their biggest selling line.

We shopped for 3 years. Selected the Creekside 23RKS. Took delivery Nov 2015. Absolutely LOVE the floorplan. Plan to spend this winter in Arizona in it.
Most important has been the factory standing behind their product. Has it been without issue, no... HOWEVER they have been more than fair in resolving concerns/issues when I've contacted them. I doubt you'll find a better product for the price. No regrets here with our purchase.

My ORV Black Rick 19B has been great. I've lived in it since last August, almost a full year. I'm gonna throw myself a party on August 18 to celebrate, even let my dog Chasqui eat some cake!

The wife couldn't reach the light above the bed in our Creekside 27bhs without climbing up on the bed so I put an extra one she can find easily in the dark

I found the slide style thermostat wouldn't keep a very constant temperature so I installed a digital one and put in the slide switch to allow for high and low fan

No problems at all. Just had to notch out a spot in the housing for the switch. It has to be a single pole dual throw "ON, ON" switch.
