Sure. Again, I stole this from IDAHOBOB, so he gets all the credit. I just finished swapping out the rest of the lights and the difference, not only in the amount of light output, but the increased warmth of the light is amazing. Even made the cabinet woodwork look better.
If you decide to purchase the round ceiling fixtures, let me know. I have a couple of installation tips that make for a better finished product.

Clothes Pins Work Great as Alternate Down Spouts

I hated that!
So I bought two more gutter spouts just like the original factory units, trimmed them a little and glued them (RV Goop) underneath the originals so that they extended outward about 2 inches past the originals. Clearly I have too much time on my hands....
I would have posted a photo but the Goop is still curing and the masking tape that is temporarily holding them all together appears un-craftsmanlike...

Same exact problem with rain dripping on open bay doors. Solved easy by placing a cheap wooden clothes pin on each of the drain spouts. Easy cheap fix and no they don't fly off when underway.

Glad the clothespins are working out well for you. My extensions are still doing their job quite well and are mostly indistinguisable from the originals. But as someone once said, size matters.

No one has said that!
Well, no one I know.

Yes Mr. Wonderful or IdahoBob is quite the person. He is the one; the only; the designer; the creater; the bubble maker; the creative magician of the world renown ARSC trophy award.
I think he really means size matters looking at the ARSC trophy but didn’t realize he needed extensions.

I’m ordering these to install myself. One thing I miss from my last trailer was being able to turn off an individual light to adjust lighting. Wish I didn’t have to pay for having this option but it is a must!
What are the tips that will help on install? Thanks in advanced!!

Yes, being able to turn the lights off individually to control the lighting is a plus. Installation is pretty simple. In fact it's so much fun that IdahoBob did all 17 of his twice
The lights are very usable "as is", but I think these mods make them ever better.
TIP 1: The ring that snaps into place after you install the fixture fits VERY tight. I was concerned that if I ever had to remove a fixture that I would pull the screws out of the ceiling while trying to pry the ring off. I used my Dremel tool to grind the 3 tabs on the ring down to about half depth and while they still snap on securely, they are easier to pry off if needed. NOTE: IdahoBob found that using a paint can opener (small metal blade with a slight hook on the end) makes the rings easier to pry off.
TIP 2: When you mount the fixture and snap the ring into place, the ring doesn't fit snugly to the ceiling, leaving a small gap that creates a small halo of light between the ring and the ceiling. While not hugely problematic, I didn't like the look of the halo so before installing the fixtures I used some black paint to paint the outside edge of the fixture, which keeps light from escaping. This is on the side that faces the ceiling and is covered by the ring so the black paint doesn't show once the fixture is installed. This will probably make more sense if you look at the pic below.

fisher99's tips are very important. Not having the benefit of his experience, I installed all 17 of mine and was very happy with the new lighting, except for the "halos". So I then put a 1/2" wide strip of white Gorilla tape around each one and that worked. But when I learned of fisher99's black paint method I redid all 17 of mine. Even though the lights are LEDs, they are bright enough that there is a fair amount of heat produced and the tape I put around them reduced the vent path for that heat. Probably, in the long run, not a good thing.
We love these lights!
Bob

Thanks! I can't wait to get them installed. I was looking at the lights that are currently installed and I was thinking...I do like the small sleek look but like I said, It's a must to be able to shut one off here and there.
Also has anyone changed out the lighting over the couch in the 25RDS model? There is a light switch for just 2 lights over the couch but they are so bright we never use them. It's a similar feeling like the light over the head of the bed. WHY they put such a bright light in that spot still is a mystery to me. I have already put 2 reading lights over the bed that came with a blue night light as a bonus and I love it!
Any Ideas for over the couch? Wait a minute...just thinking I would be happy to be able to just dim the lights. Let me ask a different question. Can I or has anyone been able to put a dimmer switch in place of the black toggle switch. Is it possible?
Thanks!

Yes, I installed a wireless dimmer. No switch replacement necessary. Not over the couch but over the bed. (The couch is where my wife likes to read and needs a bright light.)

This dimmer might work for you. It is the same brand as our new lights (FACON). I have not tried it.

EMS-HW30C and RVS Backup camera install on Timber Ridge 23DBS
Installed a EMS-HW30C surge and electrical protector and RVS Wireless Backup camera yesterday.
Not very original, but two necessities for me. We have a ~300' narrow driveway to backup up where we store our trailer. Hopefully the backup camera will help some. Went with the hardwired surge protector so I don't have to worry about it when I hook up.
EMS-HW30C Surge Protector Install
======================
There are good youtube videos, one form the manufacturer, and one from a DYI'er like people on this thread that were helpful. I was planning on just cutting the main(shore) power line and installing the box inline, but quickly realized that the only spot I had room for it was all the way back up against the outside wall just below the outside power plug. It would be difficult to work on back there, so I ended up going to Home Depot and picking up 15 feet of 10 awg 2 wire(only needed about 3 feet) to make the install reasonable. I unplugged the original wire at the fuse box and put the new 3 feet between the fuse box and the surge protector. Attaching the box to the floor proved to be the hardest part, I wasn't sure how long screws I could use(I used 3/4 inch) self drilling wood screws.
I attached the monitor to the inside of the bottom drawer. It cycles through the voltage, amps and error codes when plugged in and I don't want it turning my trailer into a disco.
Pro tip: remove the two drawers above the fuse box as well for better visibility and light. There is a little black plastic latch on either side of the drawer on the rails. One latch goes up and the other goes down, the they slide off the rails.
RVS Backup Camera
=============
This was relatively straight forward compared to the surge protector install. Hooking it up to the center running light on the back keeps it from drawing power when I'm not driving. Removing the light is easy, two screws then pop it out with a flathead screwdriver. Measure how far down you can go before you hit the roof truss from where the wires come out to the running light, drill a hole at that point for your camera wire. I kept it small enough to just fit the wire through. I also cut and stripped the wire ends to shorten it down to just what I needed, cutting off the plug at the end and leaving a red and black(ground) wire.
Pro Tip/Curiosity: the wires to my running light were white and green. Normally I would assume green was ground, but turned out the white wire was ground. Measure with a voltmeter first to make sure. Your milage may vary... I hooked the black wire from the camera to the white and the red to the green, which was the opposite of how the light was hooked up. I can't make much sense of it, but once I turned it on it all worked. Also, the screws that came with the camera didn't fit, so check that first.
I picked the RVS because the picture quality was much better than the Furrion I tested. Curtis RV in Portland was nice enough to hook up both cameras so I could see the difference.
