Weber Q1000, must be 12 years old now. Never gets blown out by wind hard to burn food. Never had to replace anything on it yet.

Another Q1200 owner.
Its fuelled right off one of the trailer's 30 pounders via a Marshall Extend-A-Flow fitting and 12 foot high pressure hose. That way I don't have to carry any extra LP tanks.

We use a Coleman cooking grill/stove and an Aluminum Roll Up Table Folding.
The grill fits in a tupperware container with its hose for easy storage.
It is all quite compact which it need to be to easily fit in trailer front compartment.
I also installed an extra 10 Ft of hose off one of my propane tanks so I can hook up the the grill and I do not have to take off the propane cover.

Not having alot of room, I have stayed with Charcoal, but I have seen these on many TT's & 5'vers, only a couple of MHs. The folks I have asked love them.
Hope this helps.

Thanks guys. Lots of Q lovers I see. Wow. That really says a lot.
We've always enjoyed charcoal. BUT just about all of the state is under restrictions and charcoal is not permitted, lawnmowers and weedwackers (combustion engines) are NOT permitted after 1 pm.
We go thru this every year.
However we have a sizable LP grill at home, and it's not 'camp friendly size'. It's also a dinosaur in age. Nice to get recommendations for today's market.
Thanks for all the input!

We use the Volcano grill. It can run on LP or charcoal. It folds up pretty small and is very to use and set up.

I asked the same question about 4 months ago. Got the same response. About 18 thumbs up for the weber Q. Not one complaint. So I bought the Weber Q, and I'm happy I did. There are no hot spots, so your food cooks perfectly. You will love it!!

Walmart carries a tabletop propane grill that sells for around $30 that is great. It has a warming rack, we use it as an oven for baking biscuits and roasting chickens. We connect it to a large propane tank via a tree (also at walmart). We also connect out Coleman stove to the tree and a lantern on top if we are dry camping. This is a great grill for the price, they last about three or four years if you use it all the time.

Weber baby Q. We wanted to use it off the main tank on our 2004 Winnebago Vectra but it would be hard to connect it since the tank is on the opposite side and under the slide out. So we spliced into the LP line and installed a quick connect that is now in one of the awning side storage Bay. We just take a 12foot hose with quick connect fitting and we're all set. We did the same for indoors to be able to use an Olympic catalytic heater while boondocking. Now don't ask how many times we've used THAT connection for the heater because I'm embarrassed to say once in our 5 1/3 years of full timing. I guess we follow the weather so much we haven't needed it and when we have we were on hookups so we used the heatpump. Sorry to go off topic but that's what RV people's minds do now don't they? Glad to have both connections there for when they may be needed. Easy upgrade too.
