Keith and Bev welcome to irv2. Looking forward to meeting you. Be sure and come over to Park at the River for lunch on Saturday as well. The folks at Outdoors RV put together a great lunch with fun prizes.

Many Thanks for coming to the Meet and Greet

My wife Deb and I would like to thank all the folks who attended this year’s Meet and Greet...you folks made it a great event.

Didn’t do an actual head count, however, guessing maybe over 70 people showed up.

I hope you enjoyed it and had fun.

Special Thanks to:

the British Coulumbia Ministry of Parks for the “ Moose Antlers”
City of Kamloops BC Tourism Kamloops for the Maps, Camping books, and Kamloops Magazines.
To the meet and greet Helpers and to my wife.
ORV folks for putting on the event.
To Marge for the wine.

Congratulations and Thanks to LAC for so successfully creating, planning, organizing and hosting the 2018 Meet and Greet!.

Me thinks there were well over a hundred happy participants.

Howdy, y'all,
We are now back on the north side of the 49th, after a terrific trip and weekend making new friends. This Canadian contingent (CC) would also like to show appreciation for the well organized and wonderfully entertaining weekend at Joseph Lake. My apologies as I'll surely missing someone in this, but I really want to thank all the dedicated folks from ORV, Coops for all your organization and MC'ing, 'Two-shoes' Calvin for highway selections, and many more. We had a helluva great time, enjoyed all of it, and made new friends.

Shindigs like this don't just happen; much more went on behind the scenes and for that us Canadian Albertans are thankful and appreciative. Ladies and gentlemen, take a well-deserved bow for a job well-done.
Regards
Glen and Marg
John and Tracy

ps....since so many asked, here is the most humourous (notice the English spelling) photograph of the weekend. All other photos will be sent to Kevin at ORV, who will hopefully post to their website. Wellllll, maybe I'll post a couple of my favourites here, for your amusement.

As the grandfather of the nose picker in the above photograph I would like to say thanks for everyone who made the weekend possible. As for the nose picker he had a wonderful time and is already asking “when can we go back?”

2018 ORV Campout Photos

Happy Canada Day, July 1.
As I review the 327 photos taken at our meet in Joseph, I found it hard to limit my favorites to show you, to just a couple. Thus my intention is to post a few more over time but leave the bulk for Kevin at ORV to display most of the fun. Here is my first installment, for your viewing enjoyment.
We really, really enjoyed the event and can't thank all the organizers and attendees enough for an astounding rally. A special mention to all the amazing folks from ORV and your spouses who assisted.

Cheers

Coops, Deb and Mr Wonderful, thanks for the great Meet & Greet and entertainment at the group lunch. How will this year's winner top that swanky Red Solo Cup trophy next year?
Speaking of next year, there will be cups to go with Friday evening wine. Kudos to those resourceful ORV owners who discovered emptied water bottles work even better than a cup as they hold more.
Thanks again,
"Marge" (really Mare, but Coops couldn't ever get that right... or his own name, for that matter) and Doug

You're welcome, we had fun designing and building (and plotting) . I'm sure Keith, The ARSC Award Winner, will come up with something spectacular for next year!
