New Black Rock 20RD and New to the Forum

I am new to the forum and would like to introduce us. My wife and I live in Canon City, CO and enjoy RVing. This is our first ORV and we have found the Black Rock 20RD a joy to tow and visit places that would have been difficult with a larger rig.
I do have plans for a few mods. The major mod would be a solar system I am putting together at this time.
I took the access cover over the bed off and was not able to locate the solar cables from the roof. I do have the entry box on the roof and the side plug. Are the 8Ga cables sort of hidden to the sides of the access? Second question is are there any horizontal blocks in the cap preventing feeding cables down the front cap to the main front bay?
Thank You for any information.
JB

Welcome to the IRV2 forum and the ORV extended family! Congratulations on the new Blackrock 20RD. You will love that big back window!
Unfortunately I can't help you out with your solar question, however there are several members who I'm sure will chime in with some helpful information!

Safe Travels & Happy Trails!

Congrats on the new Black Rock and welcome to the ORV forum!!

If your roof box is off to the right side of the roof centerline, the cables should be tucked in over the closet area. May have to use a hanger or something to probe and pull them to the center cabinet opening. The 2 cables to the battery (batteries) should already be hooked up as the side wall would be also.

On son's Wind River, he had the factory add the solar stuff. They put the box on the centerline of roof and cables were all there inside the access cover. The battery leads were run down the cap and out by the front crossmember. We were able to feed a temp sensor cable down the front cap by using flexible f/glass rods to the bottom of cap. Not real smooth and easy, but can be done!!!

Thank You everyone for the welcome. I did find those 8Ga cables off to one side kind of buried. I am doing 4 panels on the roof and I am working out the volts and amps and cable runs and the techie stuff now. JB
