If I may intrude lol.

The maiden voyage went great! I was actually feeling kind of bad that I didn't report back, so here I am.

I think I screwed up the equalizing hitch on the way out, it was very.... lurchy, like it was pulling me back as I was going forward, kind of unnerving but not too bad. Anyway no big deal.

We went to the Thousand Trails at Cultas lake, got there when it was dark and I was REAL excited about backing into the site, in the dark, my first time backing up. Had the wife on the walky, and I thought it wasn't working as she wasn't saying anything. I said I can't see anything at all, you need to guide me, she said just keep coming, then soon after, stop. I figured I was going to get out and see what a mess I had made, but and this is no exaggeration, I was perfectly lined up with everything and totally parallel! I probably couldn't do it again if I practiced for 20 years! Couldn't see a thing, and perfectly parked first time with no pulling forward or anything.

The camp site was decent, still out of season so no pool or anything, but the staff were great and their club house is excellent. Only stayed for the two nights, biked, had a camp fire, ate well..... boy it was nice climbing into a cozy bed with a heated blanket after the camp fire fun!

Only very minor issues, didn't get 120v hot water, learned there is a switch on the heater that you have to turn on, didn't know that before. One of the outdoor speakers is terrible, hoping to get a replacement. We noticed that we are missing the latch for the bunk ladder, again to be ordered and supplied to us. But doesn't really matter as I crushed the ladder when I opened the slide and broke it in half.... oh well. Other than that smooth sailing.

Noticed a few things, we wanted to put up the bottom bunk so we could store the expensive bikes in the pass through area during transit, bunk doesn't want to stay up. Will have to fix that or find a better way of latching it up. The shower has very low water pressure, is there any way to fix that? Maybe when we have water in the tank and the pump running it will be better? Never had experience with showering in a trailer before so didn't know what to expect.

Did a better job of the hitch on the way back as I could not feel like there was a trailer behind me except for the extra diesel guzzled. Very comfortable drive home.

All in all I'd say a very successful first outing. I see many others in the future and we're very happy

I can tell you, I felt like a boss! People in the next few sites probably heard me saying so lol!

Also saw a black stone at the camp ground, but the owners weren't around.

Was going to head to the Birch bay TT ground next week, but just noticed that my passport has expired, doh!
