Oldest ORV Out There
Ok, let's find out who has the most "senior" ORV product on the IRV2 forum. I know my wife and I are relative newcomers having taken delivery of ours in January 2014. LAC, 2013? 4X4 also 2013? OhOh 2013?

Same here. 2014 model but drove out to get it in October 2013.
But there's a guy on rv.net who has a 240RKS with the same floorplan as mine, built at the same plant, but before ORV took it over. Forget the brand name ...

Not that old but ours is built in 2014 and picked up March 2015. No problems so far. 140 nights, just put new water pump in as old one would'nt shut off. Happy so far.

Curious when ORV started making our trailers. How old is the company?

May or June 2009... bought the Fleetwood Plant( Prowler) in LaGrande Oregon that went bankrupt. Just up the road from Arctic Fox Plant.
I think the very first Outdoor RV trailer(2009) were rebranded (Prowlers) Fleetwood Products.
Hope this helps

At some point they must have added the Northwood frames. I wonder if they did this first thing or gradually.
Certainly my 2014 240RKS is an almost identical floor plan to an earlier Fleetwood floorplan I've seen.
I do recall that the 2014 240RKS model was the first year they upgraded to the arched ceiling and Al framed walls though. Up to then the box was prolly just like Fleetwood made it.

Interesting.....seems like they are doing a good job of building our units. The arched roof is most noticed by peeps that visit us.
Very responsive company if you have technical questions for them.

RV Pro, which is apparently a magazine for RV professionals, published an article about Northwood back in 2011 which includes details about the purchase of the old Fleetwood Plant in La Grande and the start of Outdoors RV:
https://rv-pro.com/features/northwood-goes-back-basics
I have no idea whether or not I inserted the link correctly. If it doesn't work, just plug "RV Pro Northwood Goes Back to Basics" in a search engine. It's quite an interesting article. I knew the two companies were related but didn't understand exactly how.
