ORV 21TRX - will upper bed come all the way down?

Hello! Nice to meet everybody!! We are new to this forum but have been active on others (fiberglass rv's). We currently have a 2013 EggCamper but may trade up to a small toy hauler as I am 6'6" and we like the "bringing the outdoors in" idea.

We have been eyeing the ORV 21TRX. But we are concerned about the top bed. We want the top bed to come all the way down so we dont have to use a ladder! Is this possible?

With the couches folded flat, will the top bed come down on top of the couches?

With the couches in storage position will the top bed come all the way down?

With the couches removed or deleted will the top bed come all the way down?

And lastly, while we like the onboard generator, we would prefer it to be LP instead of gasoline. Is this possible?

I have emailed the factory but no replies as of yet.

Call the factory with your list of questions and the TRX you like. First look at their suite and watch the videos. They don't call it a toyhauler,LOL. More of an outdoor activity trailer.

Call Todd at ORV. Don't leave a message. Just keep trying a few times a day everyday.
Or if you have a dealer that you would visit then give them a call. Most are pretty knowledgeable. Call the service department.

From what I can tell, the answer to all your questions is "no" but your approach is correct: Contact the factory. But as others mention, calling works best. Sometimes it takes them a day or two to get back to me, but they usually do.

If you can find a dealer with them in stock, that might work well too BUT I would not take a dealer's word for it. I would go there and see for myself....

Well it looks like I have my answer! I guess it is possible. There are "stops" or limit switches that can be removed and then you can flatten the couch, and lower the bed to just above the couch! This is the answer I was hoping for! With 2 people (and getting older) only, this seems so much better than the ladder! Thanks everybody! I'll keep an eye out for one, but living in Ohio - not many ORV's around here! I'm surprised there is not a dealer closer than TX or CO, but it is what it is!

To answer your questions, the bunk will come down. You would need to take the stops out, then it will go down and sit on top of the couch. You do not need to take it out. But you can.

I am sorry, we cannot replace the generator with a LP. It is not designed that way. You can talk to a dealership about after market ideas.
