We used Apache in Portland. Easy process. And warranty repairs have been easy and no hassle.

Interesting thread.....

We went to Thompson's a couple of weeks ago to look at a brand X. It had been on their lot since 2013 and was an absolute wreck. Doors would not open, CO sensor taped to the wall, and the floor was filthy. The sales person tried to tell me it was "new." He did share that this trailer had been loaned out every year for use at the Pendleton Roundup. They were asking a new price for it, and we walked. I told my wife I would not buy a porta-potty from them.

We purchased our new ORV from Broadmoor in Pasco. Their prices are usually as low as any dealer in the country and the purchase process was very easy and low pressure....none. Their service is terrible however. If you need a dealership for after the sale service, there are better places to buy.

We will use the factory for any major issues as we are in La Grande 6 months out of the year.

We spent several hours looking at RVs at Holiday RV in CO and got a good feeling from them. They are more expensive than Thompsons, but they are also 2000 miles round trip closer to us than Thompsons, so that is worth quite a bit! Thanks for posting your experience!

LOVE the folks at Thompson!

Just bought a Glacier Peak 30 RLS today from Thompson RVin Pendleton (largely based on what I learned here!). Didn’t plan to buy yet, was really still looking, but Carolyn was so knowledge, and so open and honest with us, we took the plunge. Of note, Tara just started today, straight from working at ORV as the Factory sales rep, so I’d challenge you to find a more knowledgeable staff anywhere! An 800 mile round trip, but so glad we made the effort!

Got a quote on a 24RKS from Thompson’s. Was hoping it would be lower (like anyone doesnt) cause it will cost a small fortune to get it to me here in SE PA.

Having a tough time making this very long distance commitment. Probably will end up doing the safe thing and buying a popular, middle of the road quality unit from a more local dealer....decisions, decisions.

I made the trip from the most northern part of NY out to Washington last June and returned with my KTS. I saved on the purchase price and the shipping. I also got to see a nice chunk of northern America, the round trip took 13 days. Mostly I’m satisfied with saving thousands!

You’re welcome at our rally!

Would love to do that, doesn’t look possible right now.

Thanks.

Good to hear. Made the 2.5 hour trip a few weeks ago and put money down. Picking it up next week and can't wait. Brian has been great so far. Looking forward to the PDI, etc.

So far my experience with Rangitsch was just as positive.
