Ottoman construction

My 2016 Windriver ottoman construction could use some help, (should be body weight bearing) and had some staples pull out.

There should have been support blocks all sides, below the skirting which collapsed. This is structurally deficient, and would be subject to product liability if someone were to be hurt. Staples are not meant to be sky hooks. Anything with casters should have those blocks above the casters - bare minimum. The loading on the 4 wheel points transferred the load to the skirting that had no support. I'd like to know who designed this POS.

Get a Kreig Jig pocket hole guide and fix it better than the factory would and you will have a jig that will fix many other problems you'll find Mine has been fine but now I need to turn it over and see if I should do the same.

Wasn't this in another post?....I'm sure that I replied on this. Anyway this ottoman has been revised to be a full 3/4" ply bottom panel. Side frames now sit on top of the 3/4" ply.

And in looking at the photos I can see that it wasn't assembled as it was supposed to be.
