Outdoors RV couch and pad foam

After traveling and living in my 250RDSW for three weeks I have spotted the next sore spot. It's the foam used in the couch and dinette pads. Especially the couch. Lay on that for a while and that bar in the middle of the seat is on the tail bone. The dinette pads take a little longer to go flat. Just wondering if anyone else has this issue and what you have done about it. New and better foam?

Same problem and effect in our Timber Ridge 260 RLS. Solution is sleeping on the floor on an air mattress. We did purchase a sleep number bed for the bedroom and are still trying to find the right setting for it. This past weekend due to all the rain we got lots of naps in on the chairs and back in bed.

I can't sleep on the floor, my dog would sleep on my head. It's the foam in the couch and dinette that's weak.

We bought it at Camping World in Rogers, Mn. and it's a Queen short. We were on our way to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Mn and I was tired of the rock pile we had for a mattress. Good Will wouldn't take it even though we had only slept on it for a handful of nights (using a mattress cover). Dw and I were out for a walk that night and met a young family from Edmonton, Alberta who were doing their first trip in a really old MH. The two boys were sleeping on plywood so welcomed the mattress we had to give away. In our conversations we discovered that her and I have some common friends - it's a very small world.

Please note that Good Will would not take our old mattress. . I understand their thoughts but am very happy that it found a new home any way. Just wish the RV industry would give us the option of upgrading the mattress and cushions before we take possession of our units. Seems like such a waste to buy three mattresses for one trailer (please also note that this was not our present trailer).

It's marketing. Most people don't sleep or sit in the RV much before they buy it. I think they see the money spent by them for better foam and mattress a wasted.

Let's just hope that Lippert doesn't buy out OutdoorsRV completely! That thought might give on ulcers!
