Rapid Jack

Has anyone had any experience with these? Do they work?
Thanks

I have one. The only time I tried to use it, it didn't work because I had completely lost one tire and the other tire on that same side was half flat. Pulling the trailer up on the rapid jack on the half flat tire couldn't raise the other axle high enough off of the ground to get the spare tire installed.

Having said that, I think that in conditions where you can pull the trailer up on a fully aired tire, it would indeed make changing the other tire on that side quite simple. But I now carry a bottle jack in addition to the rapid jack, just in case I encounter another extreme situation like this one.

I also have some concerns about the rapid jack sliding out from under the tire when you try to pull up on it if the road surface is slippery, but I haven't encountered that situation this is just speculation on my part. But again, I think that having a bottle jack for a backup is prudent.

I have a trailer saver (same idea), tested it to see if it works, it does. Hope to never use it.

I hope to never have to use one but I think it would be a good complement a jack. Thanks for the feedback

Had one, tried it, found that someone had to watch or it would shot out on some sort of mission , and you must be very quick with the TV brakes . Would almost lift tire high enough. Probably the off rode suspension on the TT wouldn't allow the lift required. Return it, and picked up a Trailer Aid Plus, you can tell from the TV when the tire has settled in, and it lifted my CreekSide high enough to change the tire. Felt much safer.

I carry a Trailer Aid at all times. And have Good Sam Emerg. Roadside Assistance. I've never used the Trailer Aid. I have used Good Sam on at least two occasions. Not happy ones. But much easier and safer than available alternatives.
