This is why I like the forums. I did exactly what you suggested and found the thermistor bad. Went to the nearest RV dealer and picked up a new one and replaced it within 10 minutes. Thank You all for your comments and advise.

I also like the idea of getting a smaller, portable frig. DW throws out my adult beverages for her adult beverages and wonders why there's not enough room for food!
