Replace Slide Carpet

The carpet in our 2011 Wind River is starting to wear and fade on the floor of the slide. We want to replace it with vinyl and wondering if anyone else has done this realizing the slide has to move freely and provide a good fit and seal. Thanks

Highland Ridge is now putting vinyl on their slide out floors. What I don't like is the vinyl flap like you have on carpet slides. I saw one at an RV show and it had some small puncture marks in it.
If you have the kind of slide thats raised then you could just put some trim on the end.
JMO but what Highland Ridge is doing seems backa$$wards.

Good point. Ours slide on a carpet flap. May be a factor to watch. Thanks.
