Robbie burns night

Scotland's national poet, Robert Burns, was be celebrated last night - 25 January - on the anniversary of his birth. Family and friends come together to celebrate his life and works with a traditional Burns Supper consisting of haggis, whiskey and other traditional Scottish foods.

Haggis and whiskey, sounds yummy. Would be a great meal for the rally meet and greet.

Not me..I am/ was a musician (drummer) not a piper. I was honoured to carry in the haggis over head on a silver platter at a Burns night many years ago.
Danced the Gay Gordons and Strip the Willow many times..good 6/8 and or 2/4 time.

Thanks for asking.
