Rotate head of power tongue jack?

I've attached couple pictures and you can see the tailgate just barely hits the tongue jack. There are allen screws that look like attach the top portion on. Perhaps the top control portion could be rotated and allow the tailgate to open all the way? The tongue jack lights would no longer aim at the hitch but I'd like my tailgate to open.

thanks

Boy, that looks awful close! Are you using any sort of load equalizing/anti-sway hitch?

Isn't it bolted the the hitch frame down by the tongue ?

Remove the bolts and rotate the whole jack.

Anti sway bar. Land Rover doesn't recommend weight distribution because it has air suspension that varies the height.
