See-level in ORV

Has anyone installed a See-level system in their ORV? Was it difficult to locate the tanks and splice into the existing wiring for the gauges?

The system monitor on ours has to be replaced. Although it’s under warranty, it’s a 4 hr drive to the dealer and their shop isn’t open on weekends. It isn’t worth the drive or time off work to have them do it and I’m thinking about upgrading since it has to be replaced.

Not hard to do....have not done it though. Gaining access to the tanks under the cover material would be some work.

I've pulled my monitor panel to do some work....it would not be hard to replace yourself if you are handy. Just a bunch of wires connected to switches with normal 12 volt crimped hardware. ORV might even send it to your home. They've done that for us on a couple items.

Just take a pic of the backside, then move one wire at a time.

Best of luck.

Ray at Love Your RV did an installation video on how to put one in. It should give you some indication on how easy it is (or not) to install one. You might want to search for other videos as well.

I installed a SeeLevel system on our 21' TT. Just need access to the tank sides you wish to monitor. Clean the tank sidewall and peel and stick the sensors. Pick a warm day. You just splice into any existing tank monitoring wire and use one common ground, also from your existing monitor. Find the wires where they go into your existing tank panel and install the new monitoring panel nearby. My tanks read accurately now. Check the sidewall depth (or height of tank sidewall) so you know what sensor to order. I think one of my tanks was short, something like 7" so I had to order one short sensor. Easy Peasy.
