I wonder if you could do the same on these? Re-plumb the pipes. Curious. Connecting the hose twice would be a pain to me, not to mention holding up the dump line!

On my 240RKS, the black+bath grey tanks are in front of the axles, and are joined to a single outlet. But the kitchen grey is a looong way behind the axles. No way I would want to connect them permanently.

And yes, the dump line just has to wait a few more minutes while I shift the trailer. The fact that I'm dumping 80g of grey and 40g of black, plus flushing the black, also makes for an extended dump.

I don't worry too much about those behind me. If everyone is doing what they are supposed to be doing it is what it is. Having to dump twice is just the way it is for some. Not moving on when finished is what annoys people.

That is why I work on weekends, leaving the campground mid-week ( my weekend) is so easy compared to the Sunday morning crush.

......annoying is being left a spill to clean up.

Wow, do a modification that makes life easier and get "dumped" on by ya'll!!

I guess if you like to do all that extra labor, moving the rig, or using 2 hoses and extras, go for it. I like my single dump connection, and I can be having another drink while watching the s##t flow instead of tiring out doing all those extras!!!

I cut out a section of the skirting, and thru bought a black door trim kit and glued it on the cut edge. I looks good and I then was able to add an additional knife valve so that I was protected from 😕leakage

Eggwilly, u have more money 💰 than me. I didn’t spend 35 grand on a trlr to have to do my own repairs, especially ones that should have never left the factory. If u want to have fun, take up fishing 🎣 or knitting. I find it difficult to agree with your logic.
Have a nice day!

Thanks for posting the reply. I am interested in the knife valve for 2 reasons:,

1) Black tank dump handle came off last spring and I had to remove access hatch to re-attach. If knife valve was in place and handle came loose, I could still dump black(or grey) until I could re-attach handle.

2) As a rookie last spring, after dumping, I left black tank handle partially open. Got a quick lesson on not doing this again when I took off the cap. With the knife valve, you could remove the cap and attach hose without issues even if black tank handle was partial open or if there was leakage.

pics of valves

Would love to see pics of what is being described....knife valves, stock handles, stock valves, etc.

My handle is connected to rod which I believes leads back to a valve somewhere towards the center of tank I believe. Not sure as trailer has its underbelly sealed.
